Better living through riding!
We spent the last week of August riding in Les Arcs, France with Trail Addiction. We found Les Arcs to be a fantastic destination for riders looking for varied trails rather than just man-made DH tracks. It is suitable at least for intermediate, advanced and pro riders. Warmly recommended!
We can recommend Malaga as a destination for those looking for a few days of nice riding in a beautiful landscape, and Sierra Cycling for those looking for a reliable organiser of all-mountain riding in Malaga. Holiday packages from Sierra Cycling are available throughout the year except in July and August when they are closed due to the very warm weather.
With Scandinavian bike parks usually opening no earlier than in late-May, we decided to launch this year's season on May 1-5 in Winterberg, Germany. Located in a hilly area of Sauerland, Winterberg advertises itself as the biggest and most versatile bike park in Germany. It posts 9 trails and has maximum vertical descent of around 175 meters.
MTB trail camping gear: In search of a good night's sleep. In the past we had an opportunity to participate many memorable adventures in Russia with nights spent under the stars. More than ten years has passed and now we feel ready for new adventures but this time with a bike. We started a search of the holy grail of a good night’s sleep: A perfect sleeping bag, a comfortable mattress and a pillow.
How to choose the right GPS for mountain biking? Choosing the right GPS for mountain biking is more difficult than it may first sound. All devices are compromises in terms of their features (size, weight, display, battery time, usability etc). Therefore there is no such a thing as the universally best GPS. In order to find the right GPS you need to think twice what features you want to prioritise.
Balancing act: Wider bars and a shorter stem. Handlebar width and stem length are some of key parameters for the feel of your bike's steering. In search of a more controlled and aggressive ride, we fitted our Specialized Enduro with Chromag Fubar OSX bars, Chromag Ranger Stem and ODI Rogue grips with great results.
